Summer in St. Vrain

As the countdown to summer winds down, students and teachers across the district are gearing up for camp season and it’s not too late to sign up. 
 
Performing arts, financial literacy and STEM camps are among the district’s summer programs that still have openings.

MES CMAS Testing

CMAS Testing Information/Schedule
 Dear Parents,All 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will be taking the CMAS (Colorado Measure of Academic Success) English Language Arts (ELA) and Math state assessments.
In addition,  4th grade students will take the Social Studies tests and 5th grade students will take the science test.
 
We are excited that our testing window is shorter this year.  Students will test from April 9th - April 19th.

Mead Families, We are excited that the district is putting on another myOn Reading Challenge over Thanksgiving break! We have been super successful at winning these challenges in the past and this contest could earn us $2,500.

Spelling Bee

 

Letters to Parents for participating students that signed up for the Spelling Bee went home in Thursday folders Oct 20th.

Study Sessions: Oct 18 and 25 Nov 1 and 8 (during 4th and 5th grade lunch periods)

Grade Level Spelling Bees: Tuesday, Nov 15th (during each grades' lunch and lunch recess)

All School Spelling Bee: Wednesday, Dec 7 All school assembly 2:45 pm

Our goal this year is to work together, hand in hand, to ensure that every student attends school regularly.

Showing up for school has a huge impact on a student’s academic success starting in kindergarten and continuing through high school.
